Key Responsibilities:

* Assist senior management in formulating annual corporate budgets, quarterly rolling forecasts, and operational financial projections.

* Conduct detailed monthly variance analyses comparing actual financial performance against targets, providing actionable insights to key department heads.

* Analyze product profitability, retail/wholesale pricing structures, and cost allocations across multiple distribution channels.

* Prepare comprehensive Management Information System (MIS) reports, key performance indicator (KPI) dashboards, and management summaries for strategic executive decision-making.

* Evaluate project feasibility studies, capital expenditure proposals, and post-implementation ROI metrics to safeguard corporate investments.

* Monitor operational costs, identify strategic cost-reduction opportunities, and carefully evaluate inventory valuation alongside waste management metrics.

Requirements and Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Management from a recognized university or institute.

* Full qualification or passed finalist status in CIMA / ACCA, or CA Sri Lanka Strategic Level qualification.

* Minimum of 2 to 3 years of hands-on, practical experience in management accounting, corporate budgeting, or business analysis (preferably in retail, trading, or FMCG sectors).

* In-depth understanding of managerial cost accounting techniques, budgeting frameworks, and performance management metrics.

* Proficient in operating within major ERP systems (such as SAP or Oracle) alongside specialized reporting software.

* Excellent numerical, analytical, and data-interpretation skills paired with high problem-solving capability.

* Strong written and verbal communication skills combined with efficient presentation ability.

* Proven track record of working independently under tight reporting deadlines and dynamic operational pressure.
