To support its growing operations, MAS Legato is actively inviting applications for the position of Junior Associate – Finance Operations based at the Malabe facility. This role is offered on a 1-year contract basis and offers an exceptional entry-level opportunity for ambitious finance professionals. The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in driving organizational transformation by executing end-to-end debt recovery processes, managing credit payable activities within set credit periods across assigned Strategic Business Units (SBUs), identifying financial discrepancies, and implementing appropriate corrective measures.

Requirements and Qualifications

* Educational Background: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, or a related discipline from a recognized institute. Key Responsibilities include
* Credit Payable Management: Carrying out assigned credit payable operations to ensure settlement mechanisms strictly adhere to agreed credit periods.
* Debt Recovery: Executing robust follow-up procedures to recover outstanding payments within specified credit terms across assigned SBUs.
* Discrepancy Resolution: Following up on payment discrepancies, ensuring full resolution prior to month-end operational closures, and keeping accurate documentation of all recovery efforts.
* Process Compliance: Clearing receipts in alignment with established Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and keeping Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) up to date.
* Continuous Improvement & Reporting: Participating actively in departmental continuous improvement projects, fulfilling audit demands, and preparing management information reports to support business decision-making.
