Requirements and qualifications
To qualify for this technical position, applicants must meet the following key educational, professional, and technical experience criteria:
Educational Background & Certifications:
* Possess a B.Sc. Degree in Networking, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related academic discipline.
* Valid Palo Alto Firewall Certifications are strongly preferred / required.
* Professional CISCO Certifications (such as CCNA or CCNP) demonstrating network fundamentals and routing/switching competency.
Professional Experience:
* A minimum of 2+ years of hands-on professional experience working in a dedicated Windows Infrastructure Engineering role or actively involved in Palo Alto Firewall Administration within an enterprise setup.
* Demonstrated hands-on experience in Data Centre Administration alongside complex Windows Infrastructure maintenance.
Technical Responsibilities & Competencies
* Take full ownership of day-to-day operational network issues as well as project-based infrastructure tasks, serving as a lead engineer to deliver solutions seamlessly from conception through to full execution.
* Direct responsibility for managing, configuring, monitoring, and maintaining Palo Alto Firewalls across corporate environments.
* Work in close coordination with Global KPMG Teams to ensure seamless cross-border system operations and consistent network policy enforcement.
* Manage, configure, and maintain SCCM Branch servers along with mandatory enterprise security patching cycles.
* Actively monitor and maintain the health of overall IT Infrastructure security while managing Security Operations Center (SOC) incident responses.
* Provide robust management and ongoing maintenance for CISCO Switches, Wireless Controllers, and Access Points across office locations.
* Perform routine management and maintenance of Microsoft Azure cloud environment infrastructure.
* Responsible for executing and managing daily Veeam Backup systems, along with executing Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity Plan (BCP) site activities to ensure maximum uptime and data integrity.
* Proven track record in securing Windows platforms, servers, and desktop endpoints—including managing next-gen firewalls, enforcing disk encryption policies, handling auditing tasks, monitoring log files, and reviewing event logging mechanisms.
