Job Details

As an Audit Clerk stationed in Anuradhapura, your daily routine will involve a hands-on, thorough examination of financial accounts, operational vouchers, inventory ledgers, and sales reports. You will work closely with regional showroom management and report back to the central internal audit team to ensure operational integrity.

1. Financial Records Verification and Examination:

* Conduct regular bank reconciliations and verify that cash balances in hand match official system logs.

2. Inventory Auditing and Physical Verification:

* Perform routine and surprise physical stock counts at regional showrooms and storage facilities to verify inventory levels against ledger balances.

* Identify, document, and report any stock discrepancies, damaged goods, or inventory turnover lags to the central internal audit division.

* Audit the documentation process for goods receipts, stock transfers, and customer deliveries to prevent operational leakage.

3. Operational Compliance and Reporting:
