Job Details
As a Senior Banking Assistant / Banking Assistant attached to the Card Settlement and Reconciliation division, your daily operational routine will center on systemic ledger balances, data cross-referencing, stakeholder communication, and the identification of outstanding entries.
Your core day-to-day duties and operational responsibilities will include:
* General Ledger Reconciliation: Process the daily General Ledger (GL) reconciliation of the Cards Department with absolute precision.
* Entry Identification & Clearance: Actively identify outstanding entries through systematic reconciliation workflows and initiate appropriate clearance processes.
* Staging Process Monitoring: Continuously monitor the outgoing staging process for international card payment networks, specifically VISA and MasterCard.
* Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise professionally with other internal and external stakeholders to facilitate and complete the daily settlement process smoothly.
* MIS Preparation: Analyze transactional data to prepare accurate Management Information Systems (MIS) reports for senior management as and when required.
* Business Support Delivery: Provide precise, quality, and timely service to ensure that the broader business functions run smoothly during business delivery.
