Requirements and Qualifications
To qualify for this exciting sales role, candidates must meet the following criteria and qualifications:
* Educational Qualifications: Successful completion of G.C.E. Advanced Level (A/L) examinations or an equivalent professional qualification.
* Professional Experience: Minimum of 1 to 2 years of proven sales experience. Prior experience in the construction industry, building materials sales, engineering products, or manufacturing sectors will be considered a significant added advantage.
* Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong interpersonal and persuasion capabilities to handle diverse clients effectively.
* Drive & Autonomy: Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision, manage daily direct sales activities, and consistently achieve assigned monthly sales targets.
* License Requirement: Must possess a valid Sri Lankan riding license. Holding a valid motorbike license is strictly mandatory for field visits and client meetings.
* Computer Literacy: A good functional working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (MS Word, Excel) and professional email communication protocols.
* Age Criteria: Applicants must be below 45 years of age at the time of application submission.
