Requirements and Qualifications

To qualify for the HR Assistant position at Chart Consultants, applicants should meet the following educational, technical, and professional criteria:

1. Educational Background:

   * Successful completion of G.C.E. Advanced Level (A/L) examinations or an equivalent secondary education qualification.

   * Possessing a Diploma or Professional Certificate in Human Resource Management (HRM) from a recognized institute will be considered a significant added advantage.

2. Professional Experience:

   * Minimum of one (1) year of practical experience working in Human Resources, office administration, or a closely related functional field.

3. Technical & Software Skills:

   * Strong knowledge and practical proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with specific emphasis on Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.

4. Essential Soft Skills:

   * Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities.

   * Strong interpersonal skills for effectively dealing with management, staff, and external stakeholders.

5. Domain-Specific Knowledge & Abilities:

   * Proven ability to systematically organize, maintain, and secure employee records and critical HR documentation.

   * Knowledge of attendance tracking systems, leave management procedures, and general payroll-related HR functions will be a distinct advantage.

Key Responsibilities

The hired candidate will be entrusted with daily operations across several critical HR functions, including:

* Systematically organizing, maintaining, and updating confidential employee personnel files and corporate HR records.

* Monitoring, managing, and tracking daily attendance logs, leave requests, and leave balances for staff members.

* Drafting, preparing, and distributing standard HR documentation, such as appointment letters, confirmation notices, service certificates, and general internal correspondence.

* Assisting the finance and administrative teams with routine payroll calculations, as well as handling EPF (Employees' Provident Fund) and ETF (Employees' Trust Fund) monthly filing activities and record-keeping.

* Supporting overall human resource initiatives, team coordination, and workplace harmony on a continuous basis.
