Job Details
As a Banking Associate in the Retail Collections & Recoveries Unit, you will manage a varied portfolio of retail customer accounts, ensuring timely collection of dues while preserving NDB's high customer satisfaction standards.
Your core day-to-day duties and operational responsibilities will include:
* Delinquent Account Management: Proactively contact retail banking customers regarding outstanding payments and systematically work to recover delinquent dues.
* Negotiation & Payment Restructuring: Utilize professional communication and persuasive negotiation skills to establish realistic, structured repayment agreements with clients.
* Customer Service and Financial Guidance: Act as a helpful advisor, maintaining a polite, courteous, and highly solutions-focused attitude to assist customers in solving their payment challenges.
* Data Tracking and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions, recovery progress, and payment commitments within the bank’s secure credit-tracking databases.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with credit analysts, regional branch networks, and senior compliance teams to align collections activities with broader banking guidelines and risk strategies.
