The primary purpose of this role is to provide independent assurance regarding system readiness prior to deployment. The selected officer will be responsible for verifying controls, assessing potential risks, and ensuring strict compliance with governance and regulatory standards. By identifying gaps early, validating remediation, and delivering clear, board-level risk insights, you will play a vital role in safeguarding the bank against implementation failures and supporting resilient technology rollouts.

Requirements and Qualifications
To be considered for this managerial position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Educational Background: A Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology (IT) or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of five (05) years of proven experience in IT systems audit, with specific exposure to pre-implementation reviews.
- Professional Certifications: Possession of recognized certifications such as CISA, CISSP, or CRISC is highly desirable.
Core Competencies & Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of SDLC governance and IT project risk management.
- Expertise in pre-implementation control assessment, including QA/UAT evaluation.
- Familiarity with core banking systems and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Ability to translate complex technical findings into board-level risk articulation.
- Proven ability to identify control gaps early and influence remediation before system deployment.
- Competence in evaluating cybersecurity parameters, including access control, encryption, and vulnerability management.
- Proficiency in IT general controls (ITGC), application controls, and data migration validation.
- Ability to design and apply risk-based testing methodologies aligned with audit standards.
- A continuous learning and inquisitive mindset, with a strong commitment to staying updated on regulatory changes and emerging risks.
- Hands-on experience with automated testing platforms and system monitoring solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional engagements and coordinate with project committees.
- Clear communication skills for reporting findings to project steering committees.
- Skilled in contractual compliance and accountability.
