Job Details
As an Intern – Human Resources at Siyapatha Finance, your daily routine will involve a balanced and exciting mix of administrative support, data management, internal communication, and project coordination. You will work closely under the mentorship of the Human Resources team in Colombo.
Your core duties, learning pathways, and key operational responsibilities will include:
1. Support Day-to-Day HR Operations:
* Assist the HR division in carrying out daily administrative and operational activities smoothly.
* Support the recruitment and selection pipeline by organizing applicant databases, coordinate interview schedules, and communicate with prospective candidates.
* Participate in executing onboarding processes to ensure a welcoming experience for new hires.
2. Document Control and Database Management:
* Assist in maintaining up-to-date physical and digital employee records, ensuring the highest level of confidentiality and structured organization.
* Help input and manage relevant employee data within the internal Human Resource Information System (HRIS).
* Support the team in tracking, sorting, and reporting basic HR metrics such as attendance, training participation, and performance records.
3. Employee Engagement and Internal Communication:
* Help coordinate and execute internal employee engagement programs, wellness events, and corporate cultural initiatives.
* Assist in designing creative internal newsletters, circulars, or flyers to keep the workforce engaged and informed.
