Engineering Assistant

Role overview

The Plantation Human development Trust (PHDT) is seeking motivated individuals to join our engineering team. Engineering assistant supports engineering and infrastructure development work in the plantation area. The selected candidate will be responsible for the construction supervision, operation, Maintenance and coordination development.

Key Responsibilities

Maintenance housing, water supply, sanitation, road and building
Support engineering planning and supervising in construction project
Prepare progress report site inspection
Assist to preparation technical documents, estimation and measurement
Resolve technical maintenance issues
Followed quality stand and safety

Required Experience

Can read drawing and technical plan
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical, problem solving skills
Ability to work in outside

Qualification

Minimum G.C.E O/L Examination with 4 passes at one sitting with 4 credit passes including Sinhala/ Tamil, mathematics and English.
G.C.E A/L 3 passes one sitting.
Diploma or NVQ in civil
Experian in engineering filed is advantage
