AVAILABLE VACANCIES

1. Audit Assistant

   - Category: Finance & Internal Audit Department

   - Role Focus: Assisting the Senior Internal Auditor in verifying institutional accounts, performing financial compliance checks, auditing procurement records, checking inventory ledgers, and preparing comprehensive audit reports in line with Government Audit Guidelines.

2. Management Assistant (Store-Keeping)

   - Category: Administrative & Inventory Management

   - Role Focus: Managing physical and digital university stock registers, receiving and inspecting incoming university supplies, issuing tools/stationery/equipment to various academic departments, conducting periodic stock counts, and maintaining storage security.

3. Laboratory Attendant

   - Category: Technical & Academic Support Service

   - Role Focus: Assisting academic staff and students during practical laboratory classes, maintaining, cleaning, and safely storing lab equipment/specimens, maintaining safety standards, and providing general support to laboratory supervisors.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

To maintain high academic and administrative standards, applicants must fulfill the standard state university service criteria specified by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and university guidelines:

1. Educational & Professional Qualifications:

   - For Audit Assistant:

     * Passed G.C.E. Advanced Level (A/L) examination in Commerce or related subjects, OR

     * Possession of recognized professional qualifications such as AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) Stage II/III, CA Sri Lanka Executive level, ACCA Knowledge level, or CIMA Foundation level.

     * Computer literacy in accounting software (e.g., MS Excel, QuickBooks) and basic administrative procedures is highly desirable.

   - For Management Assistant (Store-Keeping):

     * Passed G.C.E. Ordinary Level (O/L) examination in 6 subjects with credit passes for Sinhala/Tamil, English, and Mathematics.

     * Passed G.C.E. Advanced Level (A/L) examination in any stream.

     * Specific certification or prior experience in store management, inventory control, warehouse keeping, or supply chain logistics will be considered a distinct advantage.

   - For Laboratory Attendant:

     * Passed G.C.E. Ordinary Level (O/L) examination in 6 subjects including Sinhala/Tamil, Mathematics, and Science.

     * Basic practical knowledge of laboratory procedures, cleaning protocols, and equipment handling.

2. General Eligibility Criteria:

   * Citizenship: Applicants must be citizens of Sri Lanka.
