NDDCB was established under the national dangerous drugs control board Act no. 11 of 1984. It official began its operations on 09th April 1984 in Sri Lanka.
NDDCB is main responsibilities are control of dangerous drugs, reduced of drug abuse and provided treatment of individuals affected by drug addiction.
