Position: Audit Trainee

Qualifications:

Must be a registered student of CA Sri Lanka, CIMA, ACCA, or AAT.
Ability to work hard under pressure and consistently meet project deadlines.
Possess a positive "can-do" attitude and strong analytical skills.
Fair understanding and practical knowledge of the current tax system in Sri Lanka.
Hands-on experience with QuickBooks (QB) accounting software will be an added advantage.
Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
Solid computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Office applications (MS Word, MS Excel, and PowerPoint).

Key Responsibilities:

Assist senior auditors in carrying out statutory audits, internal audits, and financial reviews.
Examine client financial records, vouchers, ledgers, and bank reconciliations for accuracy.
Prepare preliminary audit working papers, draft audit findings, and maintain organized documentation.
Support tax computation tasks and assist in preparing statutory returns under Sri Lankan tax laws.
Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks and MS Excel for financial data processing.

Preference: Preferred for candidates based in or around Colombo who are eager to gain practical training required for professional accounting qualifications.

Salary: A standard allowance along with practical training exposure adhering to professional accounting body standards will be provided.
