Position: Junior Executive - Private Banking
Qualifications:
- Full or part qualification in Banking from the Institute of Bankers of Sri Lanka.
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience within commercial banking or financial services, with practical exposure to branch operations.
- Prior work experience in a dedicated private banking environment is considered a distinct advantage.
- Comprehensive understanding of operational procedures, foreign exchange transactions, regulatory compliance, and internal controls.
- Strong business communication capabilities accompanied by proficient computer skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve monthly targets for CIF acquisition, deposit growth, and credit facilities through new and existing client networks.
- Provide high-standard customer service while maintaining a service evaluation score of 70% or higher.
- Work closely with Branch and Central Credit divisions to analyze client financial requirements accurately.
- Identify credit opportunities, engage in client consultations, and structure suitable financial facilities while managing credit risks.
- Oversee end-to-end loan application workflows from lead generation to final disbursement.
- Maintain a complaint-free client portfolio and complete all necessary KYC, AML, and regulatory compliance requirements within timelines.
- Assist in general branch operations, including counter service and cash management duties when required.
