Position: Procurement Executive
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Professional Qualification in Purchasing, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 02 to 04 years of working experience in a similar capacity within a manufacturing organization.
- Prior experience in the printing industry will be considered an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management principles, techniques, and best practices.
- Fair knowledge of import and export procedures with practical experience in handling related documentation.
- Proven negotiation skills and the ability to establish and maintain strong supplier relationships.
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a computerized environment with essential proficiency in MS Excel.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor raw materials, accessories, and packaging material stock levels and place orders on time to avoid production interruptions.
- Maintain healthy vendor relationships and negotiate optimal commercial rates for all company purchases.
- Ensure all materials and services are correctly sourced in compliance with required quality, quantity, delivery schedules, and agreed pricing.
- Negotiate terms and coordinate documentation for incoming import shipments.
- Prepare detailed procurement reports, purchase summaries, and track operational metrics.
- Perform accurate costing analyses for raw materials to optimize overall product margins.
Preference: Applicants residing near Ratmalana, Moratuwa, Dehiwala, or surrounding areas with hands-on experience in manufacturing material planning.
Salary: Remuneration package is negotiable and will be aligned with the selected applicant's experience, qualifications, and capability.
