Position: Accountant
Qualifications:
- Part qualification in CA, ACCA, CIMA, or AAT.
- Minimum of 1 year of practical accounting experience.
- Age: 24+ years.
- Proficient in MS Office applications and QuickBooks (QB) accounting software.
- Good command of spoken and written English.
- Self-starter capable of working independently and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day corporate financial operations and ledger entries.
- Prepare timely bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
- Oversee credit control workflows and actively follow up on outstanding payments.
- Prepare Value Added Tax (VAT) and corporate tax schedules.
- Liaise and coordinate with external audit teams.
Preference: Ideal for self-motivated accounting professionals seeking an operational accounting role in Colombo.
